rabbitvcs-thunar on Linux Mint 18.1 Serena

Hello,

I've just installed Linux Mint Serena (18.1) XFCE on my computer and want to install RabbitVCS extension for the Thunar file manager.

The installation of the PPA (ppa:rabbitvcs/ppa) fails with an error message indicating it is not for xenial ...

How can I install RabbitVCS with the Thunar extension for Mint 18.1 XFCE ?

Thanks for the link but it doesn't propose any extension for Thunar, only for Nautilus.

Where can I find the extension for Thunar ?

Neither rabbitvcs nor the extension for thunar are part of official Xfce. They are created by a third-party. You need to follow up with that third-party and/or your distro packagers to find out what happened to the thunar extension.

Note: Here is a post from the developer in which he is resigning from development of this package and indicating that it has not been updated because of some serious bugs. This may be why.

Xfce does provide a thunar-vcs-plugin of its own that you might want to try.

All the download links on that page don't work b/c the directory structure has apparently changed. Here are the most recent versions:

That plus there appear to be many outstanding bugs for that plugin. I'll have a look to see if it still works.
