You could set Calendar Start to "Hide" in Preferences > Calendar Window and create an autostart entry to run:
orage
See if that does what you're hoping it will do.

If I run orage from terminal... appears calendars windows and icons into panel.
In setting orage I get: show/hide/minimized, always it's in show setting options, the calendar start but show into the panel only when click in time element. It's like hide setting I don't know what this behavior.
Regards ToZ.

The "hide" behaviour means that when orage is executed, it will be initially as a hidden window. So to try my suggestion, you need to do 2 things:
1. Change the settings so that it is set to "hide".
2. Go to Settings Manager > Session and Startup > Autostart applications and Add a new entry for orage with the following properties:
- Name = orage
- Description = orage
- Command = orage
Now log out and back in again. What this will do is during startup, Xfce will autostart orage but since its set to "hidden", you won't see the orage window pop-up. however, since orage has been started, the tray icon should appear.
