Source for the apps in settings

Hello

I'm installing xfce on solus. The set up I have up and running works fine so far. Everything in http://archive.xfce.org/xfce/4.12/fat_tarballs/ installed fine.

How ever, I'm missing a bunch of apps / functions under settings. So now I'm wondering if some solus base is still in charge or if I've missed some fundamentals.

On my Mint xfce I have for example, Desktop Settings, Display, Power Manager etc under settings - on my solus xfce I miss them all.

Regards
Rickard

Re: Source for the apps in settings

Did you enable the apps/features on compilation?

Re: Source for the apps in settings

No, I just ran configure with --prefix. How do I enable specific apps? I'm unable to find any info in the docs.

Re: Source for the apps in settings

http://docs.xfce.org/xfce/building

also run

configure --help

after configure is done there should be an overview what is enabled and what not(eg. due missing dependencies)

Re: Source for the apps in settings

I added the missing dependencies and enabled the features I want. Thanx for the help.

The only thing I lack is "Desktop Settings" under settings.
