Mouse cursor in Steam

Hello,

when I am running Steam in XFCE the mouse cursor theme is changed to what seems to be the X default cursor, although I have set the Adwaita theme in the XFCE settings dialog. The cursor shows correctly everywhere, except when hovering the Steam window.

This problem does not occur when I run Steam in a KDE or Gnome session. How can I make Steam to pick up the cursor theme set in XFCE?

Probably because xfce-session does not set the XCURSOR_THEME environment variable. Anyway Steam is using so many hacks and preloads that everything could happen...
