Hello all.
I'm having a little trouble in my XFCE desktop.
I have custom keys which I use to change the (pulseaudio) volume. The issue is that whenever i change volume, the volume change pop-op notification is not displayed.
Note that the notification is displayed if i use the mouse wheel over the icon. (note that "show notifications" is enabled in pulseaudio plugin)
Distro: Arch
Version: XFCE 4.12
Installed: xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin, pulseaudio, pulseaudio-alsa, pavucontrol, xfce4-notifyd.
Is there any way that i can make the xfce volume notification to show up when changing the volume?
Thanks!

Hello and welcome.
Install the xfce4-volumed-pulse utility from the AUR - it should make the notifications work.

But it used to work with the xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin? xfce4-volumed-pulse has no icon when the volume is muted, also the notification is smaller, it looks awful.

If this is the case (I've always used xfce4-volumed-pulse) then perhaps you should create a bug report. The plugin has seen a lot of development lately and maybe something broke along the way.

The xfce4-volume-pulse utility is probably using different icons. Try changing the style to symbolic via:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-volumed-pulse -p /icon-style -s 1
...to see if that helps.
Or try a different icon theme. Which icon theme are you currently using?

First of all, thanks for the response. I think its definitely caused by the xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin. Where can i post a report?
Using Arc Theme + Arc Icons (Moka installed also).
Thanks

No! better use the Mailing list: https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/
Bugzilla is almost unmaintained(for example last week i got an email from it that one of my bugs was closed, I reported that bug in 2014...)
