[Solved]Desktop volume control

What do I need present in the panel in order for a volume control to install? Both alsamixer and pavucontrol will adjust the volume but I don't want to have to open a term just to adjust volume. I have tried a number of things I came across online but so far no volume control.

I am running current XFCE on Arch linux.

Thanks

Re: [Solved]Desktop volume control

There is the pulseaudio plugin that can be added to the panel. If it isn't installed the package will be called something like xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin.
