[bug] HDMI Monitor Not Being Recognized

I just installed and am using Debian Xfce 4.12.1, and my second monitor is not being recognized.

I plug in the HDMI cable, then my second monitor flashes through it's different outputs, stops at HDMI, then says "no signal", then goes black.

I opened up the display settings and selected "Configure new displays when connected", and that has not resolved my issue. The secondary monitor is not available for selection in the drop down menu.

When I run `xrandr --query`, it displays: `HDMI-1 disconnected`

Any tips or suggestions for how I can get this resolved?

Thanks!

Re: [bug] HDMI Monitor Not Being Recognized

This is a graphics card driver issue, not an Xfce. If you see "HDMI-1 disconnected", there is no way Xfce or any other DE to detect the monitor. You need to update your graphics card drivers.
