I would like to toggle the XFCE4 notes (visibility) on and off with a keyboard shortcut. Searching online, I haven't found any indication that it can be done (as opposed to merely running xfce4-notes, which of course can be done like any other keyboard shortcut). Is there any way? Sorry if this question has been asked before--I imagine so--and I didn't notice it.
Here is something interesting I found while searching for the answer myself: the notes application appears to have two names that run it. I thought the name was xfce4-notes and that works; but on https://askubuntu.com/questions/722522/ … cut#790055 , I saw xfce4-popup-notes. That name also seems to work: I replaced "xfce4-notes" with "xfce4-popup-notes" in the keyboard-shortcut, and it worked the same. Not that it changed anything. It makes the notes window pop up, but it won't make the window pop down.

Doesn't it hide when you hit ESC?

Odd, I thought I tried Esc already. But yeah, that does it, thank you.
