Strange behaviour, doing a left mouse click on three files ...

I do a little programming here with Arduino controllers and the Arduino code files have the *.ino file extension.

I put three of those "sketches" in a new folder.

Doing a left mouse click on the first ino file does not do anything.

A mouse click on the second one opens the xed with the ino file content.

But most strange, doing that with number 3, a new empty text file called Arduino is generated. ?????

I am puzzled and at the moment, don't know, what to look for.

Stupid me.

Some of those ino files I had on a backup drive and the issue with thunar is associated with the "chmod" setting of those files.
