Thunar and "search into file" feature

Hi all,

I'm not sure i'm in the right place.

I'm looking for the "search string into files" feature using thunar. Does it exist ? I don't think so.

That's why i mixed uvgrep (https://github.com/hgesser/uvgrep) and yad, a gtk-based dialog box manager (https://sourceforge.net/projects/yad-dialog/) to make the search feature working.

My question is: how it could be integrated to xfce4 file manager ?

regards,

f.

Re: Thunar and "search into file" feature

Hello and welcome.

Have a look at Thunar's custom actions feature. It will allow you to integrate functionality.
