Thunar and android usb connection ????

I have an issue in thunar when I have removed usb connected android phones there icons are not removed from thunar. The icons only disappear after reboot.
It can look like this after connection and removing some different phones:  "Android Phone" is phones with LineageOs 14.1 (Android 7.1) on and the "D5503" is a Sony device with stock android 4.x.

As I don't understand how to get a photo here I give you a link to the screengrab on siduction forum where I originaly wrote about this issue.

Re: Thunar and android usb connection ????

sorry, but libmtp is terrible(at least on my E5823, i had connection issues esp. if I move many files).

I would suggest you switch to:

* https://airmore.com or any other filemanager with share support
* Samba(if rooted)
* also a very nice alternative is syncthing(https://syncthing.net)

since they work all better if you enable always on while charging in developer options.

Yes there are some problems sometimes on file transfer also and I need to be correctly connected between pc and phone for adb and fastboot.

Is the only advice here to change to another file manager?

also with file manager i mean Android file manager like fx or Es. On the Linux side there are not many options because all common linux filemanagers except Dolphin/Konqueror use the GNOME gvfs mtp-plugin
