xfce indicator plugin says "No Indicators"

Hi, I'm running Debian Stretch 9.3 stable with XFCE, after adding to the main panel "indicator-plugin" it says:

No Indicators

I've seen that in Linux Mint are installed indicator-application, indicator-sound, indicator-sound-gtk2.

What should I install in debian stretch that is missing?

"No Indicators" would display for me after I selected "Hide indicators by default" in the properties but did not select any indicators to show.
