Headphone jack does not work in xfce?

I have xfce running on a Chromebook. My headphone jack works in chrome OS, and a USB headset works in both. But for some reason I can't get my headphone jack to work in xfce. I couldn't find anything that worked to fix the issue. But I'm kind of new with Linux in general, so I may just be doing something wrong.

I don't think the issue is with Xfce, tho, but good luck!
