GPU usage in xfce4-hardware-monitor

I recently downloaded xfce4-hardware-monitor. Its great but one thing which bothers me is I can't seem to show GPU usage in the panel using it. Can you actually view the GPU usage using the  xfce4-hardware-monitor panel plugin? Or is there a way to add GPU usage?

I use Ubuntu 18.04.

Re: GPU usage in xfce4-hardware-monitor

The xfce4-hardware-monitor-plugin (docs) has a generic monitor that you could use. However, to get the correct information, you would need to use another tool to capture the information you want and save it to a file at regular intervals, and then the plugin will read that file and plot the values.

Or you could create an enhancement request at the bug tracker and see if the developer is interested in adding it.
