Thunar not seeing symbolic links

Hi All:

I have a symbolic link that points to a directory on a flash disk that I keep permanently installed in my laptop. I had been using PCmanFM for some time as thunar was just too unstable. I have emerged thunar 1.6.14 on Gentoo with a mostly xfce4.13 system and thunar does not see that link. It shows it as a "broken Link".

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Bash sees it as a link.
PCmanFM sees it as a link.

Thunar?

Try to refresh thunar after mounting the device, i.e. press the <F5> function key.  This helps here.
