xfce-notifyd

I have the notifications module loaded as a plugin in my xfce4-panel, and I hate that I have to click the icon everytime to check notifications.  Can I set it up to show a number in the systray near the bell, or at have it change the module icon color when a new notification is available?  That would make it serve its purpose much more.. Thanks in advance

Re: xfce-notifyd

It doesn't look like that functionality exists, although it sounds like a good idea. You could put in an enhancement request at the bug request.

Yes. Genmon is quite the plugin - one of my favourites (cough, cough). There are some extra scripts as well that you can try. Not sure where your distro might package them but you can view them on the git site.
