[SOLVED] Alternate location for ~/.xfce4-session.verbose-log?

Hey guys,  long story short,  we have a lab setup with NFS shared /home directories.  We also have the need to be running a concurrent instance of each users xfce session inside a vncserver.   Which all seems to be running pretty fine when changing the default XDG directories.   But both instances of xfce (when physically logged into the workstation,  and when vnc'ing to the user's vnc instance) will try to write to ~/.xfce4-session.verbose-log.

Is it possible anywhere to redirect that file to perhaps $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/.xfce4-session.verbose-log ?

Either system wide,  or on a per session basis?

Thanks

Here is why it is/was happening. The fix has been released in xfce4-session version 4.13.0

Are you running a version lower that 4.13.0?
-If yes, there really is no way to work around or redirect that log file anywhere.
-If no, do you have the XFSM_VERBOSE environment variable set?

Yeah stuck on 4.12 with it being stretch,  and doesn't look like there are any backports for stretch and xfce.  So stuck on 4.12 for the next while at least.

It was't a high issue,  just something on my list.  Thanks for the heads up ToZ!
