Want to add background image in thunare

Hello friends
I'm new here but not with xfce
I want to and image on thunar background just the this link say for Nautilus https://askubuntu.com/questions/84130/h … und-image/

Hello and welcome.

Which version of thunar and which version of GTK?

For thunar 1.8x and gtk3 > 3.16, something like this in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css will work:

.thunar .view {
	background-image:url("bg.jpg");
}

...with the bg.jpg file located in ~/.config/gtk-3.0.

i am on Arch linux 2018.06.01 x86_64

xfce4 version = 4.12
thunar version = 1.8.1
gtk version = 3.22.30
xfwm4 = 4.12.4

last time i forget to run thunar -q
