Hello! I use Thunar as my file manager and I recently updated to version v1.8.2 and I noticed that the option to permanently delete stuff was gone while the move to trash option was still existent. I downgraded and checked again to find my beloved permanently delete option was back! I just want to know why this option was removed and how I can possibly get it back in the new version! Thanks!

hi,
you can create a custom action which will be activated when delete is pressed
check guide here https://duncanlock.net/blog/2013/06/28/ … m-actions/

It was made optional in 1.8.2:
- https://git.xfce.org/xfce/thunar/commit … 861ef0342e
You can turn it back on again in Edit > Preferences > Behaviour tab.
