Active edge size on 4k display

Hi,

I use xfce on a 28" 4k display. And if I go to the bottom right corner for example and try to resize a window it is hard (in fact nearly impossible) to catch the edge point to resize it in both directions.

Is there a setting to change the size of the active are on edges and borders of windows?

Thanks & best regards

Use Alt + Right Click and drag to resize the window.

Re: Active edge size on 4k display

Greetings!

Afaik, your problem seems to be an unfortunate combination of the narrow width of your windows' edges -- a specification that is generally defined by your distribution's "Appearance theme," or a theme you have installed / selected yourself -- and the super-high resolution of your display (meaning: the pixels on your screen are much smaller compared to a typical, non-hdpi display.

Some distros, like Linux Mint, ship with a few high-dpi themes that have wider screen edges defined. Alas, that is the exception, not the rule. What "Appearance theme" are you using, and what distro are you running on?

Cheers, m4a

Ah. Thanks for the tip with Alt+Right click, this definitely is a viable work around.
My distribution is the latest Manjaro with default appearance.
