[SOLVED] Panel plugins icon size (xfce4-panel 4.13.3)

In Xubuntu Bionic 18.04 I've been using these properties in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css to adjust panel plugin icon sizes:

#xfce4-power-manager-plugin { padding: 2px; }
#xfce4-notification-plugin { padding: 2px; }

This no longer works in Xubuntu 18.10 that ships with xfce4-panel 4.13.3 (it was 4.12.2 in Bionic). Is there a way to change the applets' icon sizes on the new GTK3 based panel?

Try "-gtk-icon-transform" as shown here.
