Can't hide Dropbox icon in systray

Hi all,

I'm running MX 17.1 and XFCE 4.12.3.

When I go to the properties of the systray and look in Known Applications I can hide icons I don't want to see all the time.  But the Dropbox icon is never listed for some reason so I can't hide it.

I dug into this a little and found that I could add the icon to the list by using the following command ( shortened to only include the relevant data ):

xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -p /plugins/plugin-6/names-visible -t string -s "dropbox"

Boom!  Now it shows up in the list and even has the correct Icon.  But when I click the check mark it doesn't hide like the others that are automatically added.

Anyone know what I can do to hide that icon?

Thanks!
