strange behavior with the new XFCE on 18.10

Hi there,
when I move the mouse pointer on the bar where the windows of the open programs/folders are (practically at the end of the screen) to recall one of them I must to raise the pointer a little more in order to grab a window.
The same thing happens when I have to click on the Whisker icon: with the 18.04 I was sure to be on the bottom left and clicked on the icon, blindly!
What problem could it be?

I noticed the same with the GTK3 migration. There's like a one pixel border dead spot around some of the taskbar plugins that can't be clicked.
Here is an existing bug report. Feel free to add to it.
