Cant select/check emblems for my home's directory folders.

Every time i try to add a new emblem through right click on folder -> emblems tab it doesn't allow me to select any of them. (When I click on an emblem, the check box doesn't get checked and nothing happens). What is happened and now i can't select/assign any emblem on any folder? FYI i checked the permission of the folders i m trying to add an emblem and i have full permission rights as they are inside my home/pictures directory. I m trying to figure it for the last 8 hours and it drives me crazy !!! I am out of ideas, please help me.

Which icon theme are you using?

I 'm using my custom theme but this happens also no matter what theme i choose. The issue occurs even if i use mint-y, mint-x theme etc

Which version of Mint are you running?

Can you post back the results of the following command (to show your xsettings):

xfconf-query -c xsettings -lv

And finally, can you post a screenshot of the emblem selection dialog?
