How to change units from GiB to GB?

Hey there,

today I decided to do a last check of all my transfered files from my old laptop to my new one before wiping the old one completely.
I noticed that all folders had a smaller size on my new laptop and it took me about 30 minutes before I realized that the amount of files was correct but the filesize was wrong because I compared GiB with GB.

My new laptop is the first system to show all units in GiB instead of GB.
So I wonder if there is any way to change the units to GB?

Thanks!

Depending on the version of thunar you are using, you can switch to displaying in GB format via Preferences > Display tab > Show file size in binary format.
