today i found out

today i found out that while doing a move of a plugin on the panel, hovering for 1 second over a workspace selector will automatically switch to that workspace.  i wonder why.  maybe there is some way to make different workspaces different on the panel?

I can't reproduce that. A click or the mouse wheel will move you to that workspace but not just hovering.

Re: today i found out

then i must have something set that causes that to happen, but i do not know of anything that would clearly say it does that.  the only thing i see is "Workspace Switcher >> Properties >> Switch workspaces using the mouse wheel" which is a different thing to do that i have set on.  turning it off has the expect effect but "Switch workspace after hovering for 1 second over workspace slot during Move of plugin" (i made up that name) still happens.  so it's not (a side effect of) that one.  nothing in "Panel Preferences" or "Whisker >> Settings >> Panel" seems close.  so IDK.
