Xfburn question

In k3b and brasero you can add a silence gap between tracks. This is useful because a lot of legal downloads have no gaps between tracks.
Is it possible to do this in xfburn and add say a 2 second gap between tracks?

Re: Xfburn question

I'd say it's not possible. Or at least no easy or evident.

I installed it just to try. Haven't had good experiences with it in the past, so these days in the rare event of burning a CD I go for k3b (or Brasero if I want to avoid the KDE dependencies in that box).

Re: Xfburn question

That's an interesting tutorial sh4tr. However as far as I am aware XFburn uses neither cdrecord or wodim.

Re: Xfburn question

maybe you can append some silence at the end of each file used to make up a track.  what file format do you have?

Re: Xfburn question

Hi Skaperen. Most of my collection is in mp3. And it's not too many albums that seem to have no silence between tracks. I could use something like Audacity to append a silence, but that's a bit long winded. I think I'll have to install Brasero as a backup, although I don't trust its reliability as much as xfburn.
