[SOLVED]Laptop and second monitor

Hi All,

I have recently bought a second monitor and I am trying to figure out to enable it automatically at the login.

My specs are:

OS: Current Debian Testing
GPU: Nvidia 970 + Nvidia Driver

Right now I have to enable each time the monitor manually, is there a way to enable it automatically during the login? Actually with lightdm the second monitor is active but then goes inactive.

Thanks in advance!

Daniel

Re: [SOLVED]Laptop and second monitor

Hi guys,

eventually I figured out a solution.

I created a startup voice with this command:

sh -c 'sleep 1 && nvidia-settings -a CurrentMetaMode="DP-0: nvidia-auto-select +1920+0 {ForceCompositionPipeline=On, ForceFullCompositionPipeline=On}, DP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0 {ForceCompositionPipeline=On, ForceFullCompositionPipeline=On}"'

And now the second monitor is enabled automatically at the login!
