Cycle windows: Dialog boxes are listed -> Can you turn that off?

Hello,

when my application opens a dialog box, this dialog also gets listed inside the Window-Cycling (Alt + Tab) window. Therefore switching application during an open dialog box requires two steps instead of one step.

Is there a way to make the window manager group the dialog box and the main application to be seen as only one?
