xfce4-terminal acting strangely (SOLVED)

Since a recent upgrade, I have found xfce4-terminal acting strangely:

- All the entries in the menu bar scrunched together
- No scrollbar
- In the dialogue windows opened for Preferences, About etc the buttons and check boxes have no border
   
Any idea ?

Running xfce4-terminal 0.8.7.2 under PCLinuxOS.
Appearance Theme is Xfce-redmondxp, and WindowManager Theme RedmontXP

Just found the problem also affects the P2P torrent program Transmission

Running Transmission 2.94

Try using an Appearance theme that matches supports the version of GTK3 installed on your system. To test, consider Greybird or the Adwaita themes. Most probably, Xfce-redmondxp does not properly support GTK3.

Thank you, switching to Adwaita did the trick.
