Menu Whisker: unable to edit apps

In the xfce4-whiskermenu-plugin 2.3.1 (Xubuntu 19.04) every time I click to edit apps I wait for several seconds and at the end I obtain this error: https://imgur.com/N38KOMk.png

Same issue in the general Settings.

Can you confirm this issue?

Yes, I can confirm. MenuLibre doesn't work for me either after an upgrade from 18.10. I don't know any solution for this problem unfortunately, but until it's fixed you can use Alacarte (sudo apt install alacarte) instead. It should work, but it's not as feature rich as MenuLibre. You can also change "menulibre" command for "alacarte" in the Whisker Menu properties.
