After upgrading to XFCE 4.14 there is no "Vertical sync" checkmark in the xfwm settings

Hello and welcome.
The default is now glx, but xpresent and off (disabled) are still available as options (currently hidden). Have a read through this thread for more information on how to set them.

I followed the suggested thread and got my screen working as it was with xfwm 4.12.
This is just a thought, but shouldn't these options be easily available in the dialog window, as "Synchronize to the vertical blank" was in the previous version?
What's the best way to suggest that this feature be (re-)implemented?
Thanks

If by "best," you mean most effective... Probably by holding every software developer's head under water until he/she agrees to stop making changes merely to show that he/she was actually doing something. Or drowns, I suppose, six of one, half a dozen of the other.
But nothing less... harsh has ever worked in the past, or (probably) will work in the future.
