[Solved] How to set Panel Unhide-Delay?

i tried settings in .gtkrc-2.0 according to various help-pages, but nothing worked.
Is this possible?

Here are the comparable settings for the GTK3 version of the panel:

.xfce4-panel {
	-XfcePanelWindow-popup-delay: 1000;
	-XfcePanelWindow-popdown-delay: 1000;
	-XfcePanelWindow-autohide-size: 10;
}

...adjust the values to suit. Add the contents to ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css.
