mail checker panel not connecting

Hello,

I have a question about the goodie mail-checker for the panel.
The connection i want to make is with Zoho mail

In the terminal i get connection with.

$ openssl s_client -connect imap.zoho.com:993

When i use mail checker it gets an error not connecting. Also the port number disappears after filling in en saving settings.

I use Arco linux i3 with xfce4-panel. I am not using a mail client like Thunderbird.
Its just for the notification and the click to  webmailpage of Zoho in Vivaldi.

I'm able to connect to zoho with the mail watcher.

Mailbox Type = remote IMAP mailbox
Mail Server = imap.zoho.com
Username / Password = your zoho credentials
Connection Type = Use SSL/TLS on alternate port
Keep unchecked the port number (it will use the default 993)

Make sure your credentials are correct.

Hi Toz,

Thanks for checking.

The issue was the two-part verification for Zoho.
I had to activate a separate password for external apps. It is working now.
