pointer size

in the mouse and touchpad settings under theme I've  have increase the pointer size to 26 and pointer remains the same size I've try it in all 3 themes but nothing happens could some one help me that please and thank you .

Hello and welcome.

It would be helpful if you could provide some more information about your system?
- distro?
- Xfce version?
- xfsettingsd version (xfsettingsd -V)

Does changing it to 48 make a difference?

it finally did snap when I got to 40 then after that it seems  to be working ok ; thanks
