I Use Manjaro with xfce 4.14. and I install the appmenu plugin for xfce-panel, but now I get two menu bar, one in the top panel and one in application own window.
How to hide the menu bar in apps?
I tried search on the web, and found this two commands below:
xfconf-query -c xsettings -p /Gtk/ShellShowsMenubar -n -t bool -s true
xfconf-query -c xsettings -p /Gtk/ShellShowsAppmenu -n -t bool -s true
But it doesn't word. this two commands has so much on internet. it must has been validator and confirmed, But it doesn't work for me. I don't know why.
if something changed in 4.14? ?
How could I make it possible to hide the menu bar ?

Hello and welcome.
This isn't supported by Xfce directly. However, there is a third party set of packages, also available in the AUR, that enables this functionality. Installation and configuration information is available at that link.

Thanks for your reply, in fact I did follow the installation guide, but the menu bar in the application window just doesn't disappear
