Add custom directory to standard open/save dialog?

Hi,

on the left side of the standard open/save dialog, there is a list of pre-defined directories like
- Documents
- Downloads
- Music
- Videos
etc.

Can I add a (system-wide) custom directory to that list?

P.S. I'm using Linux Mint 19.3 Xfce.

Thank you.

Re: Add custom directory to standard open/save dialog?

I've just found out that I can add bookmarks in Thunar which also appear in the dialog ... wink

Hello and welcome, stem!

Yes, you can find your bookmarks in ~/.config/gtk-3.0/bookmarks

Here's an example of tweaking them.
