Hi there, mys system has been updated from tina to tricia. Everything appear to be right, but there is one issue around video manager and I don't now if the problem is on /usr/sbin/lightdm or /etc/X11/default-display-manager.
Substantially when I let the pc for a while it goes in sleeping mode and when I get back it doesn't switch on, but let the screen black for which I have to restart the pc. The same issue happened also with the previous version and in the this post appear that the problem is on nvidia graphic card.
I don't know if the problem has been solved but the matter is still alive!
Thanks and Happy New Year 2020!!!

Hi
I use Ubuntu on my t520 and it will hibernate but sleep will cause the same issue as you have. I would not have to monitor set to be shut off when not in use. sometimes that will conflict with hibernate. If you install TLP sometimes this will help.

I don't know if you can try this but, maybe try removing lightdm and just using startx (xinit)? you'd need to add a few line to the xiitrc file and maybe to another file, though. I am hoping to remove lgihtdm myself to make my system a bit lighter. If you are the only person who uses that computer, remiving lightdm might be okay. There might be a problem regarding not needing a password to log back in after hibernation/suspension, though. I am not sure of that yet.
