CPU temperature applet

I am using Linux mint 19.3 cinnamon , but for a nicer look and flexible customizing ,I install XFCE desktop 4.14
in cinnamon I use an applet ( CPU temperature indicator :  https://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/applets/view/106 ) which is perfect for me because all I want is to glance at my CPU temperature whenever without clicking any buttons ; I know there is a Sensor plugin but that's not what I want , I also found  xfce4-xfapplet-plugin ( https://goodies.xfce.org/projects/panel … let-plugin ) if this my only solution can someone please tell me how to install it

Re: CPU temperature applet

The xfapplet plugin is no longer being maintained. If it is not still in your distro's repositories, then it will be difficult to get it built.

You could use the genmon plugin and a script like this one to create something similar.

Re: CPU temperature applet

The sensors plugin can easily be set to monitor your CPU temp in its Properties configuration--are you having an issue with that?
