Clipboard between (browser) remote XFCE and local computer

Hello!

I am a new user of the XFCE remote desktop running in my browser (through openmind.mit.edu) and I love it!

It would be nice to be able to copy and paste text between the remote XFCE running on my browser and my local computer.
For the clipboard option in my menu bar, I am only able to paste text from the remote XFCE if I copy it from the terminal, but not if I copy from Matlab, which I opened after ssh -Y ing to our remote openmind server. Do you know if there is a way to work around this?

But even if it is possible only for copying text from the terminal -
it would be great to configure a keyboard shortcut for copying and pasting, like standard ctrl+C, ctrlV etc. and not necessarily go through the clipboard manager using the mouse.

Thank you very much in advance for any advise!
Tamar

Re: Clipboard between (browser) remote XFCE and local computer

I have xfce4-popup-clipman binded to a keyboard shortcut (Super+V), with the option "Position menu at mouse pointer" checked, would that work for you?

... and welcome to the forum!
