Almost all partitions' icons disappeared, only "orange" icon

Sometime it happens that, on boot, and logging in as root, almost all the icons of the partitions in my ssd disk have disappeared.
It remains only the root partition (that for /root) and the icon is orange as a remountable device.
To obtain the normal situation I must restart.
System is Debian unstable kernel 5.4.6-1
xfce 4.14
this happens in a new installation, the ssd was parttioned with a GPT table, with different
partitions for /boot,/, /root,/home and others for data,
(swap partition is on another non-ssd disk)
