How populate the desktop with the partitions icons?

How can I force the creation, or refresh the icons of the partitions of my disks on the desktop?

Under Settings> Display> Icons tab, you should be able to check or uncheck which icons appear on your desktop.

Re: How populate the desktop with the partitions icons?

First: under settings->Display there isn't Icons tab, but only General and Advanced Xfce (4.14)
but the problem is another:
usually I have the icons of the partitions, but sometime there aren't, only "minimal" presentation: filesystem, boot, home, root, and these are orange, as if removable, and cdrom0
lsblk or blkid correctly report all the partitions of the 3 disks present
