Lock screen customization

Is there a way to change the lock screen?
The login dialog box is in the center instead of where it's at in LightDM. I'd also want to change the date/time format.

Re: Lock screen customization

You mean using something different from LightDM and lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings?

Window position settings of LightDM

What is it that you're using, then?

Re: Lock screen customization

Yes, something like that but for the lockscreen.

lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings only seems to affect the login screen. I have the "Window position" set to 10% from the bottom and it shows correctly in the login screen, but the lock screen window is still in the middle of the screen.

That would be xflock or your Screensaver - for me, I found it was the screensaver that (strangely) needed to be edited. It was Xscreensaver that I was using at that time.

Re: Lock screen customization

XFCE has it's own screensaver these days called, you guessed it, XFCE Screensaver. But the preferences don't seem to have any way to edit the layout of the login window.
Maybe there's a config file somewhere?
