order window buttons in Window Buttons plugin horizontally

Right now, if you have your panel set to 2+ rows, the Window Buttons plugin orders windows vertically starting from the top left. I'd like it to order horizontally first.

Kind of like how Windows 10 does it.

So right now, if you open 5 windows, they will show up in this order in the panel:

1 3 5
2 4

I want it to show up like this:

1 2 3
4 5

And if the panel is wide enough, they'll all be on the top row in order.

I hope this makes sense. Is this possible?
