How to Lock folders on homepage

Hi,

I'm trying to find a way to put few directory on the right section on my homepage also locking the position so it won't reset after pressing "Arrange Icons".

are there any widget that can lock directory folders on xfdesktop homepage. maybe not widget, maybe a more lightweight way to do this? smile

Xfce doesn't have native support for this kind of icon control. You can get similar functionality using the FolderView widget from the screenlets application (available in the AUR):

The screenlet can then be placed wherever on the desktop. Depending on the icons that you want in the area, you may need to create a specific folder for this view and drop icon shortcuts in that view.
