[Solved] Mouse pointer strange shape

Hi,
after I've installed new memory in a laptop with debian 10.3 and xfce 4.12 the image of the mouse pointer is changed in a strange shape.
The image moves well and works well. For example if I select a icon with the upper left angle of the strange image of the pointer I can launch the program or with the right button of the mouse I can open the context menu.
I made a screenshot and in the image obtained the mouse pointer seems normal.
In the image at the link you can see the strange image but the real mouse pointer in the yellow circle and in the red circle the pointer how it appears in the screenshot image.
Any suggestion?
Thank you.

Re: [Solved] Mouse pointer strange shape

Hi,
after a lot of attempts I found a solution with these commands via a ssh connection to laptop:
sudo systemctl stop lightdm.service
sudo apt-get --purge remove xserver-xorg-video-nouveau
shutdown -hr now

now it seems ok. smile
