Xfce4 and Xdmx on Buster

Hi,

I have two computers, each one have Debian Buster and a screen.
On one computer, I've been installed xfce4.
And I'm trying Xdmx : I want display only one xfce4 on the two screen.

This command is ok with the window manager twm :

$ startx /usr/bin/twm -- /usr/bin/Xdmx :1 -configfile ~/xdmx.conf -config dual

but I don't find the same with xfce4.

Thanks.

Re: Xfce4 and Xdmx on Buster

I am not familiar with Xdmx but xfce4 uses "startxfce4" to start a session not "startx". Maybe try altering your script to reflect that.

startxfce4 -- /usr/bin/Xdmx :1 -configure ~/xdmx.conf -config dual

Don't know it it will work??????

But it's all right, when you're all in pain and you feel the rain come down
It's alright, when you find your way, then you see it disappear
It's alright....
