No sound in the headphones, only speakers (Ubuntu 18.04.03)

Recently installed Ubuntu. There is sound on the laptop speakers, but not on the headphones. Pavuncontrol shows that the sound is coming from the browser but it isn’t.

You should be able to open the mixer and under the "Output Devices" tab select your headphones. This is assuming they are plugged in or in the case with bluetooth properly paired and connected. Sometimes you initially need the audio playing then select the output device.
