I noticed many years ago, by pure chance, that the logo displayed by Thunar in Help > About is actually the same one as the Oakmont Vikings logo (a high school):
It assume it was cropped and used for Thunar. Is it possible to know the story behind this? Regardless, maybe it would be a good idea to replace it, given the project is much more known nowadays.

Hello and welcome.
Have a read through this very old mailing list thiread where the logo is discussed (image source page in wayback machine). Sounds like they couldn't find a copyright source. Perhaps both organizations used the same source image?

You should probably create a bug report against thunar if you'd like the developers to have a look.
