Fluxbox ... over Xfce 4.14!

We have been experimenting with this combination for some months now, and just today released MX-Fluxbox 2.1:

This works exceedingly well, and besides being fun and easy (no menu problems here) it allows users with lower resources to enjoy Xfce and MX. It's also very cool...

Many thanks for your help along the way, Misko! The mx-idesktool has grown and matured a lot since you first got us started.

Don't worry I like giving back to linux.
It was an interesting project but didn't have the time or access to a computer with linux a couple of months.
I'm not counting Android. :-)

During the lockdown I was helping my brother with his work.
He's an artist and he desinged and made an iconostasis for a church.
It's that part that carries the icons, and separates the nave from the sanctuary in the church.
Those are very often wooden but those last a couple of decades only.
My brother makes them out of sandstone. Heavy but stands much longer.

I didn't even feel the covid 19 lockdown except when I had to wear a mask when going to the store and use the machine there to disinfect hands there. And also wait in line because of limitation on the maximum allowed number of people in the store.
But I had to wear a special mask all day long for the dust in brother's workshop too because working on that stone creates fine dust that sticks to the lungs. And creates health problems.

Will check the fluxbox edition and code when I find time.
Screenshot looks good ?

Re: Fluxbox ... over Xfce 4.14!

Thank you for posting these wonderful pictures, what a project you have been working on! I wish we could share a coffee together so that I could hear about it, but am glad to know that you are safe.

Take care of yourself.
